Produced by the late Njeri Karago, co - written and directed by Judy Kibinge, this groundbreaking film delves into the intricacies of love, loyalty, and societal norms, portraying a passionate relationship threatened by hidden truths and cultural expectations.
Scheduled for April 26th, coinciding with Njeri's birthday month, the screening serves as a heartfelt tribute to her life and contributions to the Kenyan vibrant film industry.
In addition, Njeri was a generous local film philanthropist, and in honor of her generous cash grant contributions channeled to fiction filmmakers through Docubox, any profits realized after event costs will be donated towards a commemorative short fiction film grant.
